for the record, i HATE it...

...but anyway i was thinking that maybe most of you get this the whole time too, are people always comparing you to dawson? a couple of years ago when i left college i was voted most likey to be on dawsons creek. i'd forgotten about it exceot there seem to be reruns on tv the whole time now so i started watching it. have you even noticed how untalented dawson actually is? and how even though he spends NO time working on his script he manages to come up with a huge fat one which is suddenly financed and filmed on FILM with no preproduction and premieres with press coverege in a real cinema to a full house. oh and i have NEVER seen him slave for hours and almost go crazy from cabin fever and lack of fresh air for hours on end in an editing room. as soon as he's shot a couple of scened, the film is ready and edited. WHAT? grrrrrr,

i know,ok, i do know...the point of the show is not just dawsons movie dreams and his love life is more important. i just wanted to tell you how much i hate it. i liked the episode where he got thrown off a set and fired from being a runner for trying to argue with the direcor who was a cool english guy.

you only have to watch one of the early episodes to see how **** the show has become now [img]graemlins/thumbs_down.gif[/img] actually it was ok up until they left high school

anyways, may i piont out its a show about relationships and what not... just becos it doesnt show him slaving over a script each night doesnt mean he isnt doing that [img]tongue.gif[/img]

does anyone here like Scream? its hailed as this post modern classic but i think its just **** . Id take Dawsons Creek over Scream anyday

if he worked that hard at his movies, he would have no social life. my personal life is the only reason my film is taking so long to edit at the moment. i too would choose dawsons creek over scream, not to say it was a bad movie, i was entertained...

Dawsons Creek... PAH. Dawsons **** . Scream is a fantasticly original peice of work. It had a fantastic screenplay and was very well made. Its the whole bunch of lame rip offs that followed that leave Scream in a bad light. Scream the original. I would give my left *****ck to have written that screenplay.

Dawsons Creek is just **** poor tv melodrama created by a gay man for 14 year old hormonal girls.

I liked scream. I also liked Dawson's Creek the first few episodes as well. But I wasn't willing to suspend my disbelief because all they were doing was talking about problems and making a worldwar III out of a 'kiss'. That's just bull man, teenagers don't talk that much. Well at least I don't.

since this is a dawsons creek thread and dawson loves spielberg i feel like i'm allowed to ask this question here instead of starting a new thread called spielberg which would embaress me.

ANYWAY, you know his first short that he shot on film, amblin'? i was wondering if anyone knew how i could get a copy. i've read stuff by people who have watched it so i know it's out there somewhere but have no idea how they got it. (don't tell me to try ebay) anyway, i'd really like to see it.

another thing, has anyone heard of steven spielberg disease?
